Library staff have created a login for you to view your library account, renew items, and place holds for pickup. You may access your account through the Log In button at the top of our online catalog. Your username is your BAC email address, and your password is your PCode (without the P or leading zeroes).
Items on Reserve
We are happy to place personal and/or library materials on reserve for faculty and staff. We are also happy to purchase new materials to place on reserve. Reserve materials are available for short-term check-out at the Circulation Desk. Please use the form to Place an Item on Reserve for your class.
Library Instruction
Library Instruction is the most popular service we offer. Library staff can meet with your class to discuss topics of your choosing. Popular topics include introduction to the library, research skills, plagiarism, and citation/formatting.
Embedded Librarianship
BAC faculty are welcome to request an embedded librarian in any course they teach. An embedded librarian works alongside the faculty member in the Canvas course, providing resources and guidance for class assignments. This is a highly customizable service.
1-on-1 Help
Schedule a 1-on-1 Meeting with a librarian to discuss research or instructional needs. We are happy to meet in person, via phone, or via Zoom.
Interlibrary Loan
If we do not have an item you need, please submit a request via the Interlibrary Loan office. We can borrow books and articles from other institutions at no cost to you. If you feel that we should purchase the item for our collection, please submit a request via the Suggest a Purchase Form.
Collection Development
We regularly purchase new books, eBooks, DVDs, journals, etc., for our collection. If you have a recommendation, please submit your request via the Suggest a Purchase Form. If you have questions or would like to request several items, please email Alexxis Lynn directly at alexxislynn@bac.edu.
Instructional Assistance
We are available to assist with research projects, creation of reading and/or reserve lists, and development of course and program-related research guides. Please email us at libreference@bac.edu.
