CSE (Council of Science Editors) citation style is commonly used in the natural and physical sciences for referencing various materials, such as journal articles, books, and websites. It's favored by researchers and students in fields like biology, nursing, and chemistry.
When you reference another source in the body of your paper, use an in-text citation. This acknowledges the original source of an idea and connects to the corresponding reference at the end of your document.
There are three different in-text citation systems in CSE:
Name-Year
Citation-Sequence
